Outside

We have a vast range of outdoor areas at Kings Burrow including free flow areas, playground, a large field and our Nature Garden.

Our younger free flow area has a boat for the children to explore, a herb garden for children to explore using all their senses as well as water wall and bikes. Our preschool free flow area is set out to be a large construction site where children can practice their gross motor skills.

The field is a fantastic space for children to run races, play football and watch the cars and buses and for listening walks as well as a nice spot for picnics and sports day.

Our large playground is divided between an allotment area where the children enjoy growing their own fruit and vegetables which they then use for their snacks and baking activities. The other half has a large climbing frame and bikes for whizzing around.

Our Nature Garden opens up a whole world of possibilities and children enjoy weekly Forest School sessions as well as bug hunts, tree climbing and embracing all areas of our outdoor world.
